Procrastinating Parents

I'm not much of a planner.  This will be a problem for Aurelia her whole life.  We really didn't even think of dressing her up for Halloween until about 3:00 PM yesterday when we decided to do a little trick-or-treating with her cousin Padraig at a local shopping center.

We looked in her closet and thought, "What baby girl wouldn't want to be Jurgen Klinsmann?"  And now you're all thinking, "Who?"  You know, Jurgen Klinsmann, former German football star and current coach of the US Mens National Soccer Team.

Or maybe Chas, Ari, or Uzi Tenenbaum from The Royal Tenenbaums?

Well, either way, she was super cute all decked out in her Adidas track suit and sambas.

And her little monkey of a cousin, Padraig, was super cute too.

First Trick or Treat!
Visiting Kimono clad Yaya at the Chapel Hill Booth

Always fun to run into Teacher Barb!
And although she wasn't that interested in the costume or the candy, we still had a lot of fun wandering around.  I suppose we'll procrastinate a little less when she's a little older and actually does care.  Hopefully we'll have a dress-up box at that point to draw from.

In the meantime, Aurelia should be happy to know that while I went for Jurgen Klinsmann, her dad wanted to draw a mustache on her and find a mullet wig to make her Rudi Voller.  We have to draw the line somewhere.
