| From Goodbye Party |
Yep, I said goodbye party. Joey and I are leaving Kabul tomorrow evening. We don't know if it's forever, but it's at least for a year. I've been working on a post about the why, where, and what's next for awhile. Some posts are just no fun to write. But we're excited to spend Thanksgiving in Washington with my family. It's just very hard to say goodbye to this city we love so much.

I completely understand not wanting to write really long, hard to explain posts. I'm so sorry you have to leave, but I am sure that this isn't the end of your fantastic adventure. And, I can't wait to see you at Christmas!
sometimes i look at your pictures and i can't believe that's part of your real life. i like being part of your real life as well. what wild life you have Mrs. Hawkins.
